The LPTFS410 Fiber Optic Cable Stripper Tool is a precision mechanical slitting hand tool engineered for rapid, clean, and controlled jacket removal across medium-diameter fiber optic cables ranging from 4 mm to 10 mm (0.157" to 0.394") in outer diameter. Purpose-built for telecommunications technicians, FTTH installers, and outdoor plant (OSP) fiber contractors, this tool effortlessly scores and cuts through tough outer jackets, including polyethylene (PE), PVC, and corrugated aluminum or steel armored tape shields, without damaging the delicate internal optical fibers or buffer tubes.

Engineered with dual-action versatility, the LPTFS410 incorporates a 90-degree indexing blade mechanism that allows seamless switching between longitudinal slitting (along the cable length) and radial ring cutting (circumferential scoring around the cable). The hardened tungsten-carbide / high-carbon steel cutting blade features an adjustable micrometer depth screw, enabling precise calibration up to a maximum cutting depth of 5.5 mm to match specific cable sheath and armor thicknesses. With an ergonomic anodized aluminum alloy body, a smooth cable roller guide, and a spring-loaded clamp, the LPTFS410 guarantees safe mid-span access and end-prep window stripping on armored feeder, distribution, and trunk fiber lines.
