The Paradox WD1-K9A is an advanced wireless water and flood detector designed to provide early warning against liquid leaks, burst pipes, and water damage in residential and commercial premises. Operating at a reliable 433 MHz frequency, this sensor features dual water-sensing probes located at the bottom of its main body, along with an optional extension probe wire for hard-to-reach areas like sump pumps, water heaters, and under appliances.

When liquid is detected, the WD1-K9A triggers an immediate local piezo alarm and transmits a wireless alert signal to compatible Paradox Magellan MG series panels or Spectra SP / EVO control panels via wireless expansion modules (RTX3 / RX1). Engineered with an IP67 waterproof housing, it floats on water to prevent total submersion damage while continuing to transmit emergency alarm signals. Continuous RF supervision, battery health checks, and dual-tamper detection ensure maximum reliability for proactive water leak mitigation.
