Product Overview
The Ajax LeaksProtect 28297.08.BL3 is a wireless water leak detector designed to provide early warning of plumbing leaks, burst pipes, and overflowing appliances within residential and commercial properties. Featuring four pairs of contact sensors on the bottom of its enclosure, it instantly detects water immersion the moment liquid touches any set of contacts, transmitting an encrypted alarm to the Ajax Hub in less than 0.15 seconds.
Communicating via the proprietary Jeweller wireless radio protocol, it provides up to 1,300 meters of line-of-sight range and functions autonomously for up to 5 years on pre-installed batteries. Housed in a low-profile, water-resistant black casing, LeaksProtect can also trigger automated water shut-off valves (via Ajax Relay or WallSwitch integration) to halt water supply the moment a leak is identified.
