Product Overview
The Ajax LeaksProtect 28298.08.WH3 is a miniature wireless flood and water leak detector designed to deliver immediate notification at the earliest signs of plumbing failure, pipe bursts, or appliance overflows. Engineered with four pairs of gold-plated sensor contacts positioned on the bottom of the enclosure, it registers water presence the instant moisture bridges any single pair of contacts, transmitting an encrypted alarm to the Ajax Hub in less than 0.15 seconds.
Communicating via the proprietary Jeweller wireless radio protocol across open-space distances up to 1,300 meters, LeaksProtect requires no mounting tools or wiring—simply place it directly on the floor beneath washing machines, sinks, boilers, or dishwashers. Featuring an IP65 water-resistant, buoyant casing that floats if water levels rise, up to 5 years of operation from pre-installed AAA batteries, and seamless integration with automated water shut-off valves, it provides essential loss prevention in a clean white finish.
