The Ajax FireProtect 2 RB (Heat/Smoke)  is an advanced wireless fire security detector engineered for residential, commercial, and institutional indoor fire safety. Equipped with a patented bispectral optical smoke chamber (utilizing dual blue and infrared LEDs) and the proprietary HazeFlow 2 software algorithm, it accurately distinguishes real smoke particles from non-threatening steam, cooking aerosols, or dust, virtually eliminating false alarms.

In addition to advanced smoke detection, the detector integrates dual class A1R thermistors to register rapid temperature spikes (> 10°C increase within 1 minute) or fixed high-temperature thresholds exceeding +64°C. Operating over the proprietary Jeweller wireless radio protocol across distances up to 1,700 meters in open space, FireProtect 2 RB supports synchronized interconnected alarms across all networked fire detectors within 20 seconds, features an internal 85 dB acoustic buzzer, and provides up to 7 years of autonomous operation on replaceable CR123A batteries in a clean white housing.
