Product Overview

The Ajax LightCore (1-gang) 120  is the internal relay core module for the Ajax LightSwitch modular smart lighting system designed for standard North American 120 VAC single-gang electrical boxes. Functioning without requiring a neutral wire, it replaces traditional single-pole in-wall light switches to provide both contactless touch control and remote automation via the Ajax ecosystem.

Communicating over the proprietary Jeweller wireless radio protocol across distances up to 1,100 meters in open space, LightCore handles lighting loads from 5 W up to 600 W. It combines with interchangeable touch panels (SoloButton / CenterButton / SideButton) and frames, featuring night backlight illumination, customizable automation scenarios (schedules, arming triggers, or motion-activated lighting), and built-in thermal protection in a compact in-wall format.
