Paradox ZX82-R8X 8-Zone Hardwired Combus Expansion Module

The Paradox ZX82-R8X is an 8-zone hardwired input expansion module designed to scale the zone capacity of Paradox alarm control panels. Connected directly via a 4-wire combus line, the ZX82 adds 8 additional hardwired input zones to compatible Paradox Spectra SP, Magellan MG, and Digiplex EVO series panels, allowing installers to expand system coverage easily without replacing the main control board.

Housed in a compact white protective ABS casing ("R8X" variant), the ZX82-R8X features on-board LED diagnostic indicators for power, communication bus status, and individual zone loop states. It includes a built-in anti-tamper switch to report cover opening or wall detachment, supports flexible EOL resistor wiring configurations (NC, Single EOL, Double EOL, and Zone Doubling ATZ), and simplifies field installations for both commercial and residential projects.
