The Ajax FireProtect 2 RB (Heat/CO) Jeweller  is a next-generation wireless fire and toxic gas detector engineered for environments where standard optical smoke chambers are prone to false alarms, such as kitchens, boiler rooms, garages, and utility areas. Combining dual Class A1R thermistors with a chemical carbon monoxide (CO) sensor, it delivers rapid response to rapid temperature spikes, high-temperature thresholds (+64°C), and dangerous concentrations of toxic CO gas.

Equipped with an integrated 85 dB acoustic siren and multi-color LED status indicators, the detector provides immediate localized alerts and triggers synchronized interconnection across all networked FireProtect 2 devices. Communicating over the secure Jeweller wireless protocol across open-space distances up to 1,700 meters (5,500 ft), the unit is powered by user-replaceable CR123A batteries delivering up to 7 years of autonomous battery life in a matte black finish.
