The DS-KD-KP is an access control and intercom numeric keypad sub-module designed for modular IP video intercom door station systems. Engineered for multi-tenant apartment complexes, gated residential communities, and commercial office entrances, the module expands the functionality of a modular master door station unit by enabling visitors to call specific indoor monitor stations directly and allowing authorized residents or staff to unlock secured doors using personal or master PIN access codes.

Built with a tactile 12-button physical keypad (0–9, *, #), each key features integrated LED backlighting to ensure effortless night operation and visibility in dimly lit vestibules or outdoor entryways. The module connects seamlessly to the primary video intercom unit via an internal RS485 communication cascade interface and draws operational DC power directly through the modular cascade connection, simplifying wire infrastructure. Encased in a rugged, weather-sealed enclosure rated IP65 for outdoor ingress protection and IK07 for impact resistance, it mounts flush or surface-level inside single or multi-module frames and bracket assemblies.
