The rpt1-bbx (RPT1+BBX / Magellan RPT1 433MHz) is a commercial-grade wireless radio repeater module factory-bundled with a heavy-duty metal enclosure (BBX) designed to extend the bidirectional RF communication range between Paradox Magellan wireless control panels, wireless transceivers, and field peripherals. Operating on the dedicated 433.92 MHz radio frequency band, the RPT1 receives signals from wireless detectors, key fobs, and system modules, amplifying and retransmitting them back to the master control panel to eliminate dead spots across expansive commercial warehouses, multi-level residential estates, office buildings, and remote perimeter structures.

The RPT1 module features built-in bidirectional signal repeating, supporting signals from two-way wireless keypads, keyfobs, and remote controls alongside standard intrusion sensors. For expanded field functionality, the unit integrates 1 onboard fully programmable 5A Form-C relay output (PGM) and 1 hardwired zone input (with optional NO/NC/EOL configuration) that reports directly back to the panel as a wireless zone. Housed inside the included BBX protective metal cabinet, the system provides comprehensive hardware security with built-in dual tamper microswitches (wall-prying and cover removal), dedicated terminals for a 16V AC transformer input, and an onboard float charger supporting a standard 12V 4Ah–7Ah backup battery (power supply and battery sold separately) with continuous AC failure, low battery, and RF jam supervision.
