The Ajax CombiProtect  is a combined wireless security detector that integrates a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor and an acoustic glass break electret microphone into a single compact device. Engineered for complete indoor space and perimeter entry protection, it detects unauthorized human motion up to 12 meters (39.4 ft) across an 88.5 field of view, while simultaneously monitoring window panes for glass breakage up to 9 meters (29.5 ft) over a wide 180° acoustic angle.

Powered by proprietary SmartDetect software filtering and DualTone two-factor sound analysis algorithms, CombiProtect distinguishes human movement from pets weighing up to 20 kg (44 lb) and ignores environmental background noise (such as thunder, street traffic, or barking dogs) by requiring both a low-frequency impact thud and a high-frequency glass shattering frequency to trigger an alarm. Communicating via the encrypted Jeweller wireless radio protocol across open-space distances up to 1,200 meters, it features automatic temperature compensation, Grade 2 anti-tamper security, and a pre-installed CR123A battery delivering up to 5 years of autonomous operation in a clean white housing.
