The Access Control Power Supply UPS DC12V-5A is a specialized linear/switching power management unit engineered to drive access control locks, standalone biometric terminals, exit buttons, and auxiliary door peripherals. Featuring a universal wide-range AC input of 90V to 260V AC (50/60 Hz), this unit stabilizes erratic utility line voltages and outputs a clean, regulated 12V DC at up to 5A continuous output, eliminating line noise, ripple, and voltage sags across sensitive door controllers.

Built with an integrated uninterruptible power supply (UPS) charging circuit, the unit provides dedicated battery connection terminals that maintain a float charge on an external 12V 7Ah / 9Ah lead-acid backup battery (sold separately). During a power outage, it executes an automatic, seamless zero-transfer-time handover to battery power to keep magnetic locks, electric strikes, and controllers fully operational. The mainboard incorporates a dedicated adjustable door unlock delay timer (0 to 15 seconds), push-button trigger inputs (PUSH/OPEN), and dual relay outputs (NO/NC/COM) to directly drive fail-safe (power-to-lock) or fail-secure (power-to-unlock) locking hardware without requiring external isolation relays.
