The Ajax FireProtect 2 RB (Heat/Smoke/CO) Jeweller  is a next-generation multi-threat wireless fire and life-safety detector engineered for comprehensive residential, commercial, and enterprise fire monitoring. Combining an innovative patented dual-spectrum optical smoke chamber, dual Class A1R thermistors, and a dedicated chemical carbon monoxide (CO) sensor, it reliably detects all stages of fire hazards—from slow-smoldering materials and rapid open flames to invisible, lethal CO gas accumulations—while effectively filtering out non-threatening steam and dust particles.

Equipped with an integrated 85 dB acoustic siren and multi-color LED status indicators, the detector provides immediate localized evacuation alerts and triggers synchronized interconnection across all networked FireProtect 2 devices. Communicating over the secure Jeweller wireless radio protocol across open-space distances up to 1,700 meters (5,500 ft), the unit is powered by user-replaceable CR123A batteries delivering up to 7 years of autonomous battery life in a modern matte black finish.
