The Paradox G550-K9A (G550) is an advanced omnidirectional wireless acoustic glassbreak detector designed to provide perimeter intrusion protection for residential and commercial spaces. Operating on a 433 MHz RF frequency, it monitors for the distinct sound signatures generated by shattering glass, allowing security systems to register an intrusion before an intruder steps inside the building.

Engineered with dual-frequency acoustic analysis, the G550 requires both lower-frequency pressure waves (flex phase) and high-frequency shattering sounds (audio phase) to trigger an alarm, effectively eliminating false triggers caused by environmental noise, dropped keys, or thunder. Featuring a 360° detection pattern with a coverage radius up to 6 meters (20 feet), a single G550 detector can secure multiple windows or glass doors in a room. It integrates seamlessly with Paradox Magellan control panels (such as MG5050+ and MG5075) or Spectra SP and Digiplex EVO systems equipped with an RTX3 wireless receiver module.
