Paradox HUB2-E9R Hub and Bus Isolator Board

The Paradox HUB2-E9R (formerly APR3-HUB2) is a specialized communication bus hub and signal isolator module designed to extend total wiring distances and provide fault isolation for Paradox security control panel networks. Engineered for extensive commercial and residential installations, the HUB2 splits a single 4-wire communication bus line into two completely isolated output branches.

By regenerating system communication signals, each output port can extend bus wiring up to 900 meters (3,000 feet) for Digiplex EVO systems. The isolated architecture prevents system-wide network failures: if a short circuit, wiring ground fault, or tamper event occurs on one output branch, the HUB2 automatically isolates the troubled line so the remaining output branch and the main control panel continue operating normally. Because the HUB2 is a non-addressable module, multiple hubs can be daisy-chained across the bus network without consuming system module address slots.
