Paradox PRT3-A8Q Advanced Integration & Printer Interface Module

The Paradox PRT3-A8Q is an advanced integration and printer interface module designed to bridge Paradox Digiplex EVO, Spectra SP, and Magellan control panels with third-party automation systems, home management hubs, serial printers, and PC monitoring software. By providing an RS-232 serial and parallel communication gateway, the PRT3 enables bidirectional system integration, allowing external automation controllers (such as Crestron, Control4, Savant, or custom serial hardware) to monitor zone statuses, arm/disarm partitions, receive real-time system events, and issue automation commands.

In addition to home and building automation integration, the PRT3 module functions as an automatic real-time event printer interface, logging all system alarms, trouble conditions, user access events, and panel activities directly to an ASCII serial or parallel printer for permanent audit records. It supports ASCII and C-Bus protocol formats, includes on-board terminal connections for direct bus interface, and features in-field firmware upgradability via a 307USB interface module.
