Product Overview

The Paradox PS45-PCE (PS45) is a high-efficiency 75W supervised switching power supply and battery charger designed to provide auxiliary DC power for Paradox security systems and third-party 12 VDC hardware. Operating across a universal AC input range (100–240 VAC), it delivers a stable 15 VDC regulated output up to 4.5 A total current, making it ideal for powering expansion modules, keypads, active sensors, and electronic locking devices.

The PS45 functions either as a standalone power supply or as a fully supervised combus module when connected to Paradox Digiplex EVO, Spectra SP, or Magellan control panels. In supervised mode, it actively monitors and reports AC failure, battery loss, low battery voltage, and auxiliary output overload directly to the main control panel. Featuring an integrated dynamic battery charging circuit, it ensures uninterrupted power backup during mains outages while protecting the battery against deep discharge.
