The Paradox SR230-8KZ is a rugged, weatherproof outdoor wireless siren with an integrated LED strobe light, engineered to provide immediate visual and acoustic deterrence for intrusion alarm systems. Operating on an 868 MHz wireless transceiver frequency, it communicates bidirectionally with Paradox Magellan control panels (such as MG5050+ and MG5075) as well as Spectra SP and Digiplex EVO systems equipped with an RTX3 wireless receiver module.
Built for harsh environmental conditions, the SR230 features an IP54-rated UV-resistant enclosure with a sealed plastic cover to protect internal components against rain, dust, and temperature extremes. It produces a powerful 100 dB piezoelectric siren output and incorporates high-intensity LED strobe flashes to identify alarm locations quickly. Equipped with dual tamper protection (wall removal and cover opening) and powered by three 1.5 V C-cell alkaline batteries, the SR230 delivers up to 3 years of reliable wireless operation without external wiring.
