Paradox ZX8-P2C 8-Zone Hardwired Expansion Module

The Paradox ZX8-P2C is an 8-zone hardwired expansion module engineered to expand the input capacity of Paradox alarm control panels. Connecting directly to the panel’s 4-wire combus line, the ZX8 adds 8 additional hardwired detection zones to compatible Digiplex EVO, Spectra SP, and Magellan MG series control panels. It allows installers to scale security systems easily without having to replace the central alarm board or run individual cables back to the main cabinet.

Housed in a compact protective plastic casing, the ZX8-P2C features on-board diagnostic LED indicators for power, communication bus activity, and individual zone loop status. It includes 1 onboard 50 mA PGM output for localized automated signaling, dual anti-tamper switches (cover removal and wall detachment), and flexible EOL resistor zone wiring configurations (single EOL, double EOL, or no EOL). Fully managed by the central panel, it simplifies installation in residential, commercial, and multi-partition projects.

• Dual Anti-Tamper Protection: Built-in tamper switches trigger instant panel alarm alerts if the cover is removed or if the module is detached from the wall.

• Flexible EOL Wiring Options: Supports Zone Doubling (ATZ), Single EOL, Double EOL, and Normally Closed (NC) zone configurations.
