Product Overview

The 18098.55.NC (Ajax 12V PSU) is an internal power supply board designed to replace the standard 110/230 VAC power module inside the Ajax Hub 2 (4G), Ajax Hub 2 Plus, and Ajax ReX 2 range extenders. It enables security control panels and range extenders to operate directly from low-voltage 12 VDC power sources, such as external backup batteries, solar power systems, portable generators, or vehicle electrical systems.

Engineered for installations in locations without stable AC mains power—such as construction sites, mobile security trailers, yachts, warehouses, or remote perimeter posts—the 12V PSU integrates directly into the panel chassis without altering external dimensions.

Key System Features & Functionality

• Off-Grid Power Compatibility: Allows Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, and ReX 2 devices to run on 8 to  20 VDC low-voltage power networks.

• Seamless Internal Retrofit: Replaces the stock 110/230 VAC board inside the control panel casing, maintaining original physical dimensions and mounting.
