- Description
The Paradox 476-P2C (Pro+ 476) is an official high-reliability hardwired passive infrared (PIR) motion detector engineered for residential and commercial security installations. Designed specifically to perform in electrically noisy environments, it features extreme EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) and RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) rejection via a metal shield and digital signal filtering. Equipped with a dual-element PIR sensor and Automatic Temperature Compensation, it ensures maximum intrusion detection accuracy while preventing false alarms caused by cell phones, wireless routers, power lines, or radio transmitters.
Key System Features & Functionality
-
High EMI & RFI Rejection: Integrated metal shield and specialized input filtering protect the detection circuitry against strong radio frequencies and electromagnetic noise.
-
Dual Element PIR Sensor: High-sensitivity dual-element pyroelectric sensor provides reliable detection across a wide 11m X 11m ($35 ft X 3 ft) area with a 110° viewing angle.
-
Auto Pulse Signal Processing (APSP): Advanced signal processing automatically adjusts detection sensitivity based on signal strength and pulse count to eliminate false alarms.
-
Automatic Temperature Compensation: Dynamic sensitivity adjustments maintain detection capability even when ambient room temperatures approach human body heat.
-
Solid-State Relay Output: Silent solid-state NC relay output ensures long operational life and quiet switching.
-
Anti-Tamper Switch: Onboard cover tamper switch alerts the main control panel immediately if the detector housing is opened.
