Featuring a clear fixed-icon LCD screen, the K38 displays real-time system status, partition states (Arm, Sleep, Stay, Disarm), zone trouble conditions, and active zone alarms across up to 32 zones. Built with Paradox’s patented StayD mode indicator, it provides 24/7 visual confirmation of continuous perimeter protection. Powered by two standard AA alkaline batteries (or an optional external 6 VDC power adapter), the keypad includes automated power-saving modes, adjustable backlighting, and built-in wall and cover tamper switches for complete sabotage detection.
