The FR1500S SilkID Biometric Reader is a high-security, flush-mounted slave terminal engineered for demanding interior and exterior access control applications. Featuring an advanced SilkID optical fingerprint sensor, this reader reliably authenticates wet, dry, and rough skin textures while providing anti-spoofing live fingerprint detection. Operating over an RS-485 serial communication interface, it transmits biometric and credential data directly to master access controllers without line latency or electromagnetic interference.

Encased in an architectural-grade SUS304 stainless steel front cover rated at IP65 for water and dust ingress protection, the FR1500S is purpose-built to withstand outdoor exposure, vandal attempts, and high-traffic public access. In addition to biometric scanning, it incorporates an integrated 125 kHz EM-Marin proximity card module, a dual-color LED status indicator, and an acoustic buzzer to provide instant user feedback.
